Available Position:

We have an exciting role as a fabricator within our Australian business for an enthusiastic and motivated trade-qualified person in either Welding/Fabrication keen to join a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis based out of our Melbourne Airport workshop.

Position Requirements:

· Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication

· Previous experience with aluminium welding to AS/NZS 1665

· Previous experience with Basic Mechanics & Vehicle Servicing

· Must hold a current Driver's License

· A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures

· Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access

· Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check

· Be able to pass a drug and alcohol tests

Position Description:

· The fabrication position involves utilising your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.

· You will report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.

· Your role involves conducting preventive servicing, data collecting as well as repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.

· The wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment means there is an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills
