About the job

The Global Senior Buyer S&I and eCommerce will be responsible to drive effectiveness and efficiency on our Strategy&Insights and ecommerce spend. Final purpose is to extract value (quality of service and cost) from our A&P investment while driving superior topline growth.

It is essential to ensure that we have the right balance between driving innovation and delivering ROI through effective A&P investment optimization. Effective global sourcing and supplier relationship management strategies will leverage scale and maximize agency performance. This will be achieved through ensuring that the S&I and eCommerce agencies, acting for Danone across the world, are delivering Danone's business needs, striving for continuous improvement and developing new capabilities.

This role has been conceived keeping into account the evolution of the marketing industry and the blurred lines within the topline categories. We expect the individual to focus on the following areas and activities:

• Fostering efficiency and effectiveness of the S&I and eCommerce spend. Identify consolidation/centralization/collaboration opportunities to drive simplification, standardization, and savings. Contributing to value-driving activities to include optimizing efficiency (savings, cashflow) and effectiveness (speed, compliance, ROI) of Danone's A&P, both within S&I and eCommerce categories and adjacent categories when applicable.

• Deploying and leading commercial relationships with S&I and eCommerce partners

• Forging strong relationships with the business to understand market pressures, transformation challenges and opportunities and accelerate growth across all divisions
• Developing new innovative sourcing strategies identifying opportunities based on business needs in collaboration with global, regional, and local S&I and eCommerce and C&P teams for the global S&I and eCommerce categories that will fall in your scope.

• Roll-outing SRM and Partner for Growth journey in collaboration with Global S&I Team to capture supplier led innovation

• Providing support on global projects and contracts related mainly to RMS and Ad-hoc , advise on regional/local needs when applicable.
• Supporting development of local S&I expertise through community building, sharing best practices for local S&I categories, and building Knowledge Library to enable local and regional S&I C&P teams.
• Benchmarking internal and external best practices
• Enable some of Danone main growth engines : growth driving data, actionable and relevant insights, and eCommerce - Enable digitization of S&I sourcing process through expansion of knowledge management to agile solution marketplace for preferred partners with pre-negotiated rates and agreements.
• Continually develop and monitor S&I and eCommerce C&P multi years roadmap , including clear RACI for local/regional/global
• Elevate category management responsibilities through operationalizing and delegating tactical tasks with support of Procurement COE.

• Ensure compliance to Danone's business principles, policies and standards.

About you

We're looking for a strong talent able to team up with a variety of stakeholders, manage complexity, break silos and challenge existing models while bringing strong expertise on his/ her categories. You have experience of working within a complex environment. You are collaborative and well-versed in forging strong alliances in order to support business growth.

Key requirements:

• Master graduate in Procurement, Sales or Marketing.
• 7+ years professional marketing procurement experience keen to translate Strategy & Insights and growth driving data needs into clear Procurement roadmaps.
• You have worked in either a global or regional marketing procurement role within a large matrix organization. Specifically you have relevant marketing, S&I, media or eCommerce industry specific experience or knowledge or interest.
• Highly developed communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills and work and act in a fact-based manner.
• You have an analytical mindset and bring a high level of financial acumen.
• You have a strategic vision combined with the ability to be hands on/entrepreneurial, you are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and are able to bring clarity and structure.
• Fluency in English.
